The City of Stockholm is to comment on a government proposal to introduce a SEK 400 interpreter fee per case for individuals who have resided in Sweden for at least six years and require an interpreter for government interactions. The City proposes rejecting the fee, arguing it could hinder vulnerable groups' access to authorities and is not an effective language learning incentive. While generally positive about a proposed ban on children interpreting in official matters, the City advises against it due to insufficient analysis of its consequences and the proposal's oversimplification.

The City Council is proposed to approve an agreement with Region Stockholm for the City of Stockholm to solely manage the development of eastern Hagastaden. This means Region Stockholm's land in the area will be transferred to the city to facilitate the completion of the new district, planned for over 6,000 homes and 50,000 workplaces. Stockholm will pay Region Stockholm 62.8 million SEK, but the sale of building rights and compensation for Hagabron are expected to cover the city's expenses.

The City Council is to approve Phase 2a, "Kulturkvarteren," of the Slakthusområdet project, estimated at approximately 391 million SEK. This phase aims to create a sustainable and safe urban environment focused on culture, food, and entertainment, while preserving historical buildings. It also includes securing the existing hotel and restaurant school and adapting it for new housing, with measures like noise reduction.
