The Bromma Senior Citizens' Council has emphasized that new residential areas like Bällsta Hamn and Tegelsjö must be designed to be age-friendly, prioritizing accessibility, elevators, and proximity to services. The council also advocates for free premises for senior organizations, increased support for family caregivers, more communal lunches, and a greater variety of senior activities such as a senior fair and summer events, to foster a more age-friendly city.

Minor areas for improvement include increasing seniors' influence over activities and providing clearer information regarding meals.

The Liberals, through Sara Svanström, propose that the City of Stockholm enhance safety at dangerous pedestrian crossings to reduce injuries and fatalities among pedestrians, especially those with disabilities. The motion calls for the city to identify the most hazardous crossings, prioritize improvements like better signage, lighting, audible signals, and raised crosswalks, and then implement these measures.

The Bromma District Council is considering a proposal to protect roughly 6.8 hectares of forest in Åkeslund as a biotope protection area, aiming to preserve its natural values and biodiversity, including ancient trees and vital habitats. While generally positive, the council seeks clarification on maintenance funding and proposes a three-meter protective buffer from building facades.

The City Planning Administration proposes a detailed development plan for Bällsta Hamn in the Ulvsunda industrial area, transforming it into a mixed-use district with approximately 1400 new homes, a primary school, three preschools, parks, and a town square. The Bromma District Administration supports the proposal but has concerns regarding preschool planning, the design and management of parks, and the need for safety and community services for residents.

The Bromma District Council has responded to a proposal for two new residential buildings with approximately 50 apartments and ground-floor retail or services on Tranebergsvägen in Ulvsunda, also making a small connecting street public. The Council is largely positive but stresses the importance of selecting the right ground-floor business, improving pedestrian paths, reviewing accessibility, and notes the demolition of two villas, one of which is culturally significant.

The City of Stockholm is updating its food strategy to encourage healthier eating, reduce the city's environmental impact, and strengthen food security. This means city operations like schools and elderly care will serve more sustainable food with a lower climate footprint and less waste. The city will also make it easier for residents and visitors to choose sustainable food by promoting urban farming, sustainable gastronomy, and improving food environments in public spaces.

The Liberals propose expanding Stockholm's "City District Boost" initiative beyond its current focus on Järva to include more vulnerable areas like Skärholmen, Hässelby-Vällingby, Bredäng, and Hagsätra, where crime and insecurity have also risen. This aims to enhance safety, improve public services, and maintain public spaces through a concrete action plan with clear goals for all involved committees and companies.

The Moderates propose that the City of Stockholm initiate negotiations with Region Stockholm and the Swedish Transport Administration, among others, to resolve the difficult traffic situation at Brommaplan. The aim is to find a long-term, comprehensive solution for this heavily congested transport hub in Västerort, which currently causes long queues and increased travel times for both motorists and public transport users.

The Liberals and Center Party in Bromma, represented by Hanna Wistrand and Stefan Ennerfelt, have proposed that the Bromma District Council improve its dialogue with the Pensioners' Council and the Disability Council. They suggest annual meetings between the councils and the full district board to better integrate their perspectives and foster a more inclusive Bromma. The District Administration supports this proposal, believing it strengthens the participation of seniors and people with disabilities.

The Liberals asked the Bromma district council how many days there would be skateable ice on the flooded rinks in Bromma, given milder winters, and how many locations are flooded. The administration responded that it's difficult to give an exact number of days as it depends on the weather, but they flood a total of 14 locations for ice rinks in Bromma. Flooding for the current season was delayed due to the late arrival of cold weather.

The Liberals asked the Bromma district administration about their work to promote health and prevent illness among the elderly. The administration responded that they collaborate with the Sports Administration and local associations to offer activities and health consultations to seniors in Bromma, including at senior fairs and through wellness instructors from the swimming pools. This work is primarily led by the preventative unit, and while Motivational Interviewing (MI) is used, the FINGER model is being withheld to allow for a coordinated city-wide strategy.

The Bromma District Council has considered a proposal from the Liberals, Moderates, and Centre Party to allow pensioner organizations to use Ungdomens hus (Youth House) during the day when it is empty. The administration is positive towards supporting community life but states that rentals must adhere to clear rules regarding equal treatment and democratic conditions. Currently, there are no established routines to vet organizations as required to implement such a proposal.
