Stadsarkivet cuts genealogy research fee by half from June 2026
The Culture Committee's Archive Subcommittee will review the City Archives' proposal for new fees, effective June 15, 2026. This includes a reduction in the fee for a limited genealogical investigation from SEK 1500 to SEK 700, and the introduction or adjustment of fees for digital copies of analog audio and video. These changes are required for the City Archives to comply with the National Archives' decisions regarding fees for certain services.
