New Husby Badet: Directional Decision for Construction Project

Husbybadet ska rivas då nuvarande byggnad har omfattande konstruktionsfel. Den nya anläggningen planeras få en 25-metersbassäng med åtta simbanor, två undervisningsbassänger samt ett äventyrsbad. Byggstart planeras till första kvartalet 2028 och det nya badet väntas stå färdigt under andra kvartalet 2031. Den nya anläggningen planeras på en intilliggande tomtså att det befintliga badet kan hållas i drift under merparten av byggtiden.Eftersom investeringsprojektets totala budget bedöms överstiga 300 miljoner kronor ska inriktningen för projektet beslutas av kommunfullmäktige.
