City Archives Report: Grades, Damage, and Budget
The Culture Committee is set to approve the City Archives' first-period report for 2026 and forward it to the City Executive Board. The report indicates the Archives are largely meeting City Council goals, having handled over 11,000 inquiries, including many for grades, and launched a digital service for grade retrieval. Despite costs from water damage to over 100 shelf-meters of documents after a fire alarm incident, the Archives project a balanced budget for the year.
