Järva stadsdelsnämnd bildades 2023, genom en sammanläggning av Spånga-Tensta och Rinkeby-Kista stadsdelsnämnder , och ska nu samla cirka 640 medarbetare i ett nytt förvaltningskontor i före detta Kämpingeskolan. Projektet innebär en genomgripande renovering och anpassning av byggnaden för att skapa ett ändamålsenligt kontor som möter dagens standardkrav.
