2025 Audit Reports: SHIS Bostäder, Strindberg Museum, Maritime Hotel Losses
The City Council will review the 2025 audit reports for seven independent foundations and institutions, including SHIS Bostäder and the Strindberg Museum, with the City Executive Board proposing that their boards be granted discharge from liability for the previous year's management. However, the Liberals (L) are reserving their position and propose that, in addition to approving the motion, the City Management Office be tasked with investigating significant write-downs (losses) of over 18 million SEK in certain investments by the Stockholm Maritime Hotel Foundation, such as a student housing project in Bredäng. L also wants the City Management Office to work towards establishing a placement policy with better risk diversification for the foundation.
