The City Executive Board is circulating a proposal for new guidelines on how the City of Stockholm should allocate places in special housing and supported housing for individuals with psychiatric disabilities or impairments under the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). The aim is to clarify the process and enhance legal certainty for residents, while also defining the division of responsibility between the Social Welfare Committee and the district committees. These guidelines, which have not previously been compiled, are intended to support case officers and providers within the city's freedom of choice system.
