Better Food for Health, Climate, and Future

The City of Stockholm proposes a revised food strategy, "Good food for health, climate, and environment," to promote healthy eating, reduce climate impact, and strengthen food preparedness. The Järva district council supports the proposal but requests clearer guidelines for responsibility, implementation, and a central coordination function. The strategy includes goals such as at least 70% organic food and a 40% reduction in climate impact from procured food by 2030, along with annual measurement of food waste in the city's preschools, schools, elderly care, and social services.
