Officers Get Police Help for Child and Addiction Care

The Järva City District Committee decided to authorize certain social services officers to request police assistance for implementing compulsory care for substance abusers (LVM) and minors (LVU), as well as for executing decisions to place children in protected housing. This measure ensures that necessary interventions can be carried out, for instance, if a guardian opposes a decision for a child to enter protected housing, and updates previous delegations for these officers.
