Järva Preschool Funding: Teachers, Groups, and Results
Åsa Nilsson Söderström (L) inquired about the use of allocated funds for Järva's preschools, noting that despite extra money, the area didn't appear to have more preschool teachers or smaller groups than others. The administration responded that socio-economic funds were used to strengthen Järva's preschools, including hiring more educators, creating language-rich learning environments, and establishing substitute pools for increased stability. They assert Järva now has the highest proportion of preschool teachers in the urban area (41.5%) and all staffing and group size targets have been met or exceeded, even if some personnel aren't always reflected in official statistics.
