District Finances: Investing in Safety and Green Spaces
The Järva District Council has presented its 2025 financial statement and operations report, showing it met almost all goals and achieved a surplus of 23.3 million SEK due to lower social welfare costs and increased grants for new arrivals. However, the objective of increased safety through preventative measures was not achieved. The Council requests reallocating 6.3 million SEK to exercise tracks in Tensta-Rinkebydalen to improve safety and 0.3 million SEK to community gardens for biodiversity.
