The City Council has adopted new guidelines for processing financial assistance applications in Stockholm, aiming to ensure legal certainty and equality. The "Stockholm standard" will be applied to children (0-20 years) to offset higher local costs, increasing food and leisure allowances. Additionally, eligible adults will receive help with SL travel card costs, and children in families with long-term financial assistance needs will receive a special summer holiday allowance.
