Better Food for Stockholm: Health, Climate, and Your Community
The Södermalm District Council has commented on Stockholm City's revised food strategy, "Good Food for Health, Climate, and Environment." The administration is positive towards the new food program aiming to make the city's meals more sustainable, healthy, and safe, including ensuring food in preschools, schools, and elder care is tasty, nutritious, and at least 70% organic (with a goal of 100% organic dairy products). The program also seeks to reduce the climate impact of food, strengthen the city's crisis preparedness, and encourage Stockholmers to choose more sustainable food options.
