New plan for Kålroten 3 property at Nytorget
The City Planning Office has proposed a new detailed development plan for the property Kålroten 3 at Nytorget 6-8 in Södermalm. The plan aims to enable a 3D property formation, allowing commercial premises within the building to be separated from residential units. This could provide tax advantages for the housing cooperative, as it may then be considered a "genuine" housing cooperative.
The Södermalm District Administration has no objections to the proposal as it does not involve any physical changes to the building or affect their operations. The matter will now be handled by the City Planning Office.
