New Apartments and Shops on Skånegatan

The Södermalm district administration has commented on a detailed development plan proposal for the property Bonden Större 43 at Skånegatan 63–65. The plan suggests adding one floor to the existing building for seven new rental apartments, three-story townhouses on the elevated courtyard, and new retail or restaurant spaces. The administration is positive overall, viewing the proposal as contributing to a greener urban environment and an active streetscape, but wishes for an investigation into ways to reduce potential shadow effects on neighboring properties from the new construction.
