Council Decides on Kindergarten Closures

The Södermalm District Council proposes to reclaim the right to decide on kindergarten closures from the School Director. Starting February 19, 2026, the council itself will make decisions regarding kindergarten closures, regardless of the reason or duration. This represents a change in the council's internal delegation of authority.
