Protecting Schools and Care: Handling Problem Employees

The Sweden Democrats in Södermalm have raised six questions regarding how the district administration handles employees in schools and care services who exhibit inappropriate or criminal behavior. They contend that the municipality often buys out such staff instead of prosecuting them, which could result in unsuitable individuals being rehired. The administration states that buyouts are a last resort, that crimes are always reported to the police, and that they are implementing competence-based recruitment and reference checks to prevent re-employment, while also providing managers with support and training for handling difficult personnel matters.
