Police Aid for Child and Substance Abuse Cases

The Södermalm district council has decided that certain named officials within Social Emergency Services may request police assistance. This applies to cases concerning compulsory care for substance abusers (LVM), compulsory care for young people (LVU), and the placement of children in safe housing. This decision is to enable the police to provide assistance when interventions under these laws need to be carried out, for example, if someone opposes a decision for a child's safe housing.
