New Housing Plans and Resident Feedback

The board of Stockholmshem has approved the company's operational plan and budget for 2026, but only plans for the construction start of 76 new homes, which Liberalerna and Moderaterna criticize. They believe Stockholmshem should focus on developing Stockholm houses with good quality and environmental performance, and collaborate with commercial actors, while also calling for larger apartments (70-90 sqm with 4-6 rooms) to lower production costs and meet tenant needs. The CEO also reported that resident relocation in the newly built Måsholmen 33 in Skärholmen is on par with other new constructions.
