Henriksdal Plant Upgrades for Better Work and Environment

Stockholm Vatten AB is planning to renovate and modernize the operational facilities at the Henriksdal wastewater treatment plant for a total of SEK 190.8 million. This upgrade is necessary because the Bromma wastewater treatment plant will be closed, increasing the workforce at Henriksdal from 120 to 165 employees. The aim is to create modern workplaces with new laboratories, offices, and staff areas that will be functional for the next 30 years, while also improving the work environment and environmental performance, including through the installation of solar cells. The project is expected to be completed by 2030.
