Improving Child Welfare in Skärholmen

The Inspectorate of Healthcare and Social Welfare (IVO) reviewed the Skärholmen district council and found deficiencies in how they handle cases for children and young people, including checks before child placements, handling of reported concerns, and the municipality's own quality control. The Skärholmen district council has since reported the measures they have taken and plan, which IVO deems sufficient to address the deficiencies and has therefore closed the case, though the municipality must continue its quality work and evaluate the effects of the measures.
