Better preschool support for kids with special needs

A citizen proposal was submitted to the Skärholmen district council with nine suggestions to improve the inclusion of children with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPD) in preschools and social services. The proposal includes staff training, adapted facilities, and better interaction. The district administration believes that several of the suggestions are already covered by existing work on accessibility and participation, but agrees on the importance of competence development and adaptations being made based on the specific needs of the operations. Individual education plans will be established to ensure staff have the right knowledge.
