Free Sports Courts Proposal Rejected, Parks Focus

A citizen proposed free, temporary, company-sponsored padel and tennis courts on Gärdet to promote spontaneous sports and public health in Norra innerstaden. The district administration rejected the proposal, stating that Gärdet's sports fields are managed by the Sports Administration, not them, and space for new facilities in the inner city is limited. Instead, they plan to develop existing spontaneous sports areas for various activities and have purchased activity boxes for equipment rental in parks.
