Faster help for children and adults in crisis
The Social Welfare Committee in Stockholm has decided which city social services employees are authorized to request immediate police assistance in urgent cases, specifically for interventions under LVM, LVU, and the law on placing children in protective housing. District committees, such as Norra innerstaden, are now urged to make similar decisions to ensure social services have the necessary authority to act quickly when children or adults require acute protection or care.
