Faster decisions by city officials and committees

The Norra innerstaden district council is to approve an updated delegation policy, which means the council decides which matters officials and committees can make decisions on, rather than the council itself in each case. This aims to streamline work and shorten decision paths. The revised policy takes effect on April 1, 2026, and includes changes regarding emergency foster care decisions under the new Social Services Act and updates related to the service administration's reorganization.
