Housing Plan for People with Disabilities
The City of Stockholm is planning to meet the need for special service housing for people with disabilities until 2036, projecting an increase from 1,987 to 2,368 individuals needing such services by 2035. The greatest demand is for group homes with standard accessibility in the inner city, though there's also a need for larger, freestanding group homes, despite the challenges of building these in dense urban areas.
