Protecting Children and Adults in Crisis

Social Services on-call unit is commissioned to decide on placements for adults with substance abuse issues under the LVM law, and for children under the LVU law. They are also authorized to decide on placing children in protective housing. This allows the on-call unit to act quickly in acute situations to protect and assist residents.
