Solbacken Care Home Contract Extension

The Kungsholmen District Council is to decide whether to extend the operating agreement for Solbacken care home with the private company Vardaga Silverhemmen AB until January 2030. Vardaga has operated the 64-bed dementia care home since 2021, and the administration recommends an extension. This is because the service is deemed to meet requirements, and an extension would provide the most stability and least disruption for residents and staff.
