More housing for people with special needs.

The Kungsholmen District Council is to approve a plan for special housing for individuals with disabilities and social psychiatric needs for 2026-2036. The Inner City Region (Kungsholmen, Norra Innerstaden, and Södermalm) has identified a need for more group homes with standard accessibility and spacious, detached group homes, despite the challenges of building these in the inner city. The goal is to meet growing demand and reduce placements outside the standard system.
