Help Trafficking Victims: Time to Reflect and Recover
Kristin Jacobsson (C) proposed Stockholm city adhere to the Council of Europe's anti-trafficking convention by granting potential victims 30-day reflection permits and a "rights package" including housing, legal aid, and psychological support. The Social Welfare Committee responded that they are already actively working on this and revising their program against violence and prostitution; however, both the Salvation Army Safe Havens and Talita supported the motion, highlighting authorities' lack of knowledge which results in few reflection period applications.
