Stockholm wants clear AI rules for city services.

The City of Stockholm is set to comment on a government proposal regarding the implementation of the AI Act in Sweden by August 2026. While generally positive, the city believes the inquiry hasn't sufficiently addressed the consequences for municipalities, particularly concerning the oversight of high-risk AI systems in education and healthcare, and wishes to see the role of municipalities as innovators and development partners clarified.
