Valhallavägen Improvements: Safer Streets, More Green Space

Two Centre Party members proposed a comprehensive upgrade of Valhallavägen, from Roslagstull to Hakberget, to improve traffic solutions, create green spaces, playgrounds, and bike paths by moving parking to garages, while also enhancing lighting, cleanliness, and winter road maintenance for increased safety. The City Executive Board believes many intentions are already covered by existing assignments, but other city areas have higher investment priority, and though the Traffic Committee sees a need for upgrades, it lacks the budget for a holistic approach.
