New Recycling Center and Capacity for Söderort

Anette Hellström and Johan Nilsson (M) proposed that the city quickly establish a new recycling center in western Söderort due to the closure of the Sätra recycling center, and also increase capacity at existing centers in southern Stockholm. The City of Stockholm responded that it has already taken sufficient measures, including planning a small, temporary recycling center to open in Skärholmen centrum in September 2025 and expanding capacity at Vantör recycling center.
